Record Books for Cloverbuds
Cloverbuds have a special record book to complete. It can include photos, drawings, and written thoughts about what you liked in 4-H over the past year. Parents and older siblings are encouraged to help Cloverbuds get started on their record book. Turn in the Cloverbud Record Book to your club leader on or before the due date. Each club has a different due date, so ask your club leader or family mentor for the details.
Find Cloverbud Record Books at https://fonddulac.extension.wisc.edu/4h/records/ under record book forms, or they can be picked up at the Extension Office if your general leader does not have any.

Cloverbud Day Camp: Out of this World RecapOn Wednesday, July 23rd, 28 Cloverbud campers blasted off into space with an exciting adventure at our second Cloverbud Day Camp of the summer, Out of this World! Campers spent the day exploring all things space-related.
The day began with fun space-themed icebreaker questions like, “If the Moon were made of cheese, what kind would it be?” and “If you could take one thing to space with you, what would it be?” After getting to know each other, youth crafted astronaut helmets and designed their own planets, showcasing individual creativity through color and texture.
Next, they made shimmering CD UFOs decorated in foil, gems, and pipe cleaners! Outside, campers launched film canister rockets powered by Alka-Seltzer and water, watching them soar into the sky.
After lunch, youth tested out their engineering skills by building and flying paper airplanes and helicopters. Then, they rotated through a series of space-themed stations: Galaxy Jars, personalized Name Rockets, Space BINGO, and Straw Rockets!
To wrap up the day, campers learned about moon phases using Oreos and enjoyed delicious rocket-themed fruit kabobs. The day concluded with a group photo and recognition of the Camper of the Week, Charlie G!
We’re looking forward to seeing everyone again at our last Cloverbud Day Camp on Wednesday, August 13th, for Outdoor Survival! Get ready for a day full of fun exploring nature and taking on exciting outdoor challenges!
