Each Wednesday, hang out with WashU Comfort Dogs Bear and Brookie, grab lunch from the food truck, pick up a fresh veggie box, and learn about other ways to prioritize wellness. Check in each week to receive a passport sticker to win WashU swag items and other prizes!

Join Congress of the South 40 and Campus Life for a trip to Fright Fest at Six Flags St. Louis! Sign up fast, as spots are limited. Registered students will receive a ticket and passes for a free meal, snack and drink! Transportation will be provided.

Student can access Handshake, our career management platform, to discover workshops, events, and career fairs, plus search more than 11,000 internship and job postings. Check out our career readiness resources to build your skills, explore career opportunities, and prepare for your future. You can even join a career community to explore careers, make connections, and feel a sense of belonging.
Do you have questions about your resume, LinkedIn profile, or an upcoming interview? Drop in hours are available Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. in our main office in Danforth University Center (DUC), Suite 110. You can schedule an appointment with a career coach to discuss questions, get feedback, and plan for success.

| Take Bearprints for Success |
|
|
Do you know a first-year student who would benefit from a mid-semester intervention? Consider recommending GENST 1100: Bearprints for Success!
Bearprints for Success is now enrolling for its next seven-week session. This one-credit course helps new students successfully transition to WashU, both academically and personally.
Participants engage with academic readings, interactive activities, and empirically-based strategies centered on the five core themes of Health Excellence; Leadership; Career Development; Inclusive Excellence; and Student Engagement & Belonging. Short course B classes are enrolling now!

| Enroll in Dialogue Across Difference |
|
|
Spring 2026 registration begins Nov. 11. Enroll in Dialogue Across Difference (DxD), an eight-week course that teaches undergraduate students how to explore difficult topics such as politics, religion, race and gender in a positive and productive way. Learn more about DxD.

Dining hours are adjusted during Fall Break. Most regular hours of operation will resume on Oct. 8.
|
|
|
Flu shots are highly encouraged for all WashU students. Flu shot clinics at the Student Health Center - Danforth Campus will be held on Oct. 23-24. Schedule your appointment online through the Student Health Portal.
|
|
|
If you have a bike on campus, we strongly recommend that you register your bike with WashU and display the registration shield on your bike in a visible manner.
It is also recommended that you use a Kryptonite U-lock to secure your bike, which is available for purchase at the WashU Police Department for $33. Email Sgt. Zohaib "Zack" Khan for more information about purchasing a bike lock.
