Federation Grants Nearly $100,000 to First-time Overnight Campers One Happy Camper shares Federation’s belief that children with pivotal Jewish camp experiences are more likely to become adults who value their Jewish heritage, support Jewish causes and take on leadership roles in their communities. That’s why, for the past eight years, Federation has partnered with One Happy Camper, a program that facilitates 100% Federation-funded grant distribution for first-year Jewish overnight campers. This year, Federation increased its One Happy Camper allocation from $47,000 to $97,000, providing $50,000 in additional funding for our Northern Virginia families.
