UChicagoGRAD’s Credential in Higher Education Administration (HEA) is a co-curricular professional development program that enables UChicago graduate students and postdocs to explore administrative careers and gain meaningful experiences that will help prepare them for work in colleges and universities. HEA workshops on conflict resolution and program design will be held on February 6 and 20 respectively.

Conflict is a regular occurrence in academic and professional settings. Join this interactive workshop to learn approaches and tools for handling conflict constructively. Participants will practice tools such as asking questions, naming differences, and building bridges. By focusing on everyday strategies, the workshop will help graduate students and postdocs develop the communication skills necessary to improve their interactions with peers and mentors, and shift their mindset toward seeing conflict as an opportunity to bring about positive change.
