Wisconsin Agriculture Water Quality Webinar Series

The UW-Madison Division of Extension’s Agriculture Water Quality Program is hosting a biweekly webinar series in early 2023 on important factors impacting ground and surface water quality. The winter webinar series is supported by Wisconsin Farmers Union. One (1) soil & water CCA credit available per webinar.

Farm Succession Virtual Workshop series

Series One / Tuesdays, January 24, 31 and February 7 / 12 pm - 1:30 pm

To help Wisconsin farm families start their succession planning process, Wisconsin Extension has developed an interactive workshop series as a part of the program Cultivating Your Farm’s Future. This workshop series will provide tools and resources for producers who want to begin the succession planning process.

It is important to better understand how to manage double-crop soybeans in Wisconsin. This year, three trials were conducted relating to double cropping and intercropping soybean and and winter wheat.

2023 Agriculture Outlook Forum | Climate Smart Dairy in WI

UW-Madison Division of Extension and industry experts will present on the status of Wisconsin's farm economy. Topics include the current Situation and Outlook for dairy, corn and soybeans, livestock and meat, cranberries, as well as farm income and Wisconsin's economy.

Repro Roadshow | Friday, February 3, 2023 | 11:30 AM - 2:30 PM at Extension Jefferson County

This program is for Veterinarians to learn the latest that is occurring in the world of dairy cattle reproduction. Dr. Paul Fricke will present: "Repro Jeopardy" and Dr. JP Martins will present: "Research update on timed-AI in heifers and Resynch in lactating dairy cows”

There are four programs being offered across the state. Select the date and location that works best for you. Two (2) CEU's applied for. Offered by UW-Extension and Zoetis.

2022 Spanish for Dairy Industries Series

The Spanish for Dairy series is made up of two classes: Level 1 and Level 2. The classes build on each other, giving you the opportunity to grow your language skills, while learning important technical vocabulary for communicating in Spanish on a dairy farm or in the dairy industry.
