Pharmacies near the Homewood campus
The CVS at 3200 St Paul Street (Store #10565) has been closed since April 2, and the company has not shared when they will reopen. In the meantime, there are several options to help you receive your prescriptions. Visit the Well-Being Blog for a list and interactive map of local pharmacies, including many accessible via JHU shuttle routes.
Take the campus dining survey
Tomorrow—April 23—is the deadline to share feedback on campus dining at Hopkins. What’s working well? What would you change? What new cuisines or vendors would you like to see in our on-campus dining spaces? Click this link to take the survey; participants can be entered into a drawing for a chance to win Hopkins swag!
Expanded study spaces and CSS Saturdays
Additional study spaces have been added for Reading and Exam Days! View a list of locations and hours on the library website.
Need an extra boost as finals approach? Join the Center for Student Success for CSS Saturdays: Study with a Tutor. This program offers all students the chance to study with both community and academic support. Whether you're tackling chemistry, physics, calculus, or need general study help, Learning Den tutors and study consultants are there for you. Come by the CSS on April 25 and May 2 between 12 and 4 p.m. and enjoy some snacks and pizza while you work.
Homewood academic buildings shifting to J-Card access only during exams
To support students’ study needs during exams, all Homewood campus academic buildings will temporarily shift to J-Card access only. This change in operation will go into effect at 6 p.m. on Monday, April 27, and remain through Monday, May 25 (Memorial Day).
Study breaks in the BSC
There will be a series of study breaks happening in the Bloomberg Student Center from May 3 to 8 to help you de-stress, recharge, and stay motivated through finals! Stay tuned for the final schedule, which will be posted in Hopkins Groups and shared on social media.
Prepare for residential Move-Out
Residential students, it's time to start planning your move out of university housing. All students are required to move out of the residence halls within 24 hours after their last final exam or by 12 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, whichever comes first. Your spaces must be clean and empty when you leave. Please email housing@jhu.edu with any questions.

Upcoming academic deadlines
For Spring Term 2, April 24 at 4:30 p.m. is the deadline to:
|
- Withdraw (with a “W” on your transcript); approval from an academic advisor is required.
- Change your grading system to or from Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory
|
SOUL classes also end on April 24; Spring Term 2 classes end May 15.

Submit your proposal to the Sesquicentennial Awards Program
Proposals are now being accepted for the Spring 2026 cycle of the Sesquicentennial Awards Program. Students are invited to submit proposals for the Artistic Lens Awards, which invite ideas that engage the Hopkins community with artistic and creative offerings exploring the university’s past, present, and future. Awards of up to $15,000 are available. Proposals must be submitted by April 24, with decisions announced May 22. Enroll in a meal plan for next year
Now is the time to enroll in a Hopkins Dining meal plan for the 2026–27 academic year! You can choose from options that fit your schedule and dining preferences, and if you enroll by June 30, you’ll be entered for a chance to win $100 in Dining Dollars. The Culture Kitchen celebrates Arab American Heritage Month
Now through the end of April, stop by Mosaic in Levering Kitchens to enjoy a menu honoring Arab American Heritage Month. The options include bold, chef-inspired flavors and dishes, including hawawashi (pita stuffed with lamb and beef) and other traditional fare.
Save the date: Tech Yard Sale
The annual Tech Yard Sale is on Friday, May 1 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. in BSC 102. This year’s sale will feature a variety of gently used equipment for purchase at deep discounts, including laptops, tablets, printers, and more. All proceeds will be donated to the United Way!

It's not too late to work with a health and well-being coach to integrate wellness practices to support academic work or just be your best self. Coaching can support sleep, fitness, organization, and more. Visit the Health Promotions and Well-Being website to learn more about coaching and set up a free session.
On-demand CBT modules from TimelyCare
SilverCloud is a free, online, and confidential mental health resource that offers 24/7 access to interactive learning modules that teach cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques. It is available to full-time students and learners who are over the age of 18. Learn more on the Well-Being website.

Men's Lacrosse defeats Maryland at Homecoming
The Blue Jays secured a share of the Big Ten Conference regular-season title as well as the top seed in the conference tournament with a 9-8 victory against rival Maryland at the April 18 Homecoming game. First-year students: Celebrate completing your first year at Hopkins with Student Transitions and Family Engagement! Drop by Wyman Quad on April 23 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. for coffee, donuts, major stickers, and other giveaways.

Celebrate with the Center for Social Concern as they host an end-of-year party on April 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.! Whether you volunteered, led, partnered, or attended CSC events, come hang out in their backyard at 3103 N. Charles St. for an afternoon of raffles¸ games, photo booths, delicious food, and more.

Also on April 28 from 6-8 p.m., the FLI Network will be hosting its End-of-Year Celebration & Halfway There Ceremony in Scott-Bates Commons, which will feature food, connection, and community.

A reimagined staging of An Enemy of the People
Join SNF Agora on April 26 in the BSC for a play reading and panel discussion of Henrik Ibsen’s An Enemy of the People. SNF Agora Visiting Fellow Nigel Semaj Barnes is developing a contemporary adaptation of the play, which was originally written in 1882; this will be the only performance.
A Hopkins Night at the Museum
The Office of the Arts is sponsoring a free evening event at the Baltimore Museum of Art on April 29 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The museum will be open after hours to all students and other members of the Hopkins community; guests will have a chance to wander the galleries and enjoy live music and refreshments. - Looking for mental health support? Visit Mental Health Services to find out how to schedule a therapy appointment or access virtual tools like TimelyCare, SilverCloud, and the Calm app.
