Library Renovations Revealed

During a grand opening September 14, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the library will unveil its new Information Desk and introduce the areas that make up its Learning Commons—the Career and Professional Development Center, the Kathleen Jones White Writing Center, and more. Food, prizes, and giveaways will be available.

Federal Grant Funds Tech Projects
IUP will receive $1 million from a $62.7-million grant awarded by the US Economic Development Administration to a collaborative of southwestern Pennsylvania counties. The university’s funding will support artificial-intelligence research in data analytics, AI and robotics research in safety sciences, geological and geospatial intelligence, and the STEAMSHOP, the campus makerspace.
