Good morning! Clemson will become the 126th member of the Association of Research Libraries, representing "the best of the best" research libraries in the country. What to know today:

The Clemson University Libraries have been invited to join the Association of Research Libraries as its 126th member, effective January 1, 2026. The Association champions research libraries and archives, develops visionary leaders and shapes policy for the equitable advancement of knowledge.

Clemson University will host its fourth annual Compliance and Ethics Week beginning Monday, Oct. 20. The week features several discussions and expert panels for employees and students designed to raise awareness around compliance and ethics issues impacting the University community.

The Brooks Center for the Performing Arts recently celebrated the 30th anniversary of the Bill and Donna Eskridge Tri-ART Series with the launch of the 2025–26 Tri-ART season, including two sold-out performances of The Math Maniac. The milestone was an opportunity for reflection and recommitment to the program’s mission to inspire the next generation.

The Harvey S. Peeler Jr. College of Veterinary Medicine (PCVM) is moving steadily toward welcoming its first class in fall 2026, pending accreditation. While details continue to take shape, the college is committed to preparing future veterinarians to serve South Carolina and beyond.

Clemson will host its inaugural Military and Veterans Pitch Competition on October 31, honoring the University’s historic military roots while celebrating innovation and entrepreneurship among service members and their families. Applications for the pitch competition will be accepted through October 10.
