Capacity & Small Project Grant Cycle is Open

To strengthen local communities through its current round of funding, Travel Oregon has created a Capacity & Small Project Grants program that focuses specifically on supporting destination marketing/management organizations and federally-recognized tribes through capacity building.
Funds are intended to develop and refine skills, systems, structures and strategies so the organization can successfully fulfill its mission and achieve outcomes that are more impactful. Funds also support diversity, equity and inclusion training and coaching to support these entities as they advance racial equity within their organizations and through their work.
Applications opened on Nov. 2 and will be accepted until Nov. 28 at 5 p.m. Total funding available for the Capacity & Small Project Grants program is $1.5 million.
Read the grant guidelines to see eligibility requirements, funding parameters and application questions. Please direct questions to grants@traveloregon.com.

Oregon Lodging Industry: It's Time to Update Your Lodging Property Listing

It’s time to make sure your lodging property is included in the 2023-2024 Official Travel Oregon Visitor Guide. Printed annually, the guide is the only statewide print piece for comprehensive lodging listings. Any transient lodging property in Oregon that pays the statewide 1.5% lodging tax is eligible for a free basic listing in the printed guide as well as a listing on traveloregon.com. Oregon Restaurant & Lodging Association (ORLA) manages the lodging database used to feed both directories. Properties are required to update/verify their existing listing or submit a new lodging listing to ORLA by December 5, 2022, for inclusion in the guide.
Questions? Please contact ORLA at Listings@OregonRLA.org.
