Carnival Night was such a fun and exciting experience for the children. They loved going from activity to activity, playing games, laughing with their friends and seeing what prizes they could win. The excitement and smiles on their faces throughout the night showed how much they were enjoying themselves. The children also had a great time stopping for refreshments and treats, making the evening feel even more special and memorable for everyone involved.

3D Pens and Rice Krispie Treats |
The children had an exciting time learning how to use 3D pens and exploring their creativity through hands-on design. They were eager to experiment with the pens and quickly learned how to create shapes, patterns and small creations using the melted plastic. The activity encouraged problem-solving, patience and fine motor skills while allowing the children to express their imagination in a fun and engaging way. They were excited to see their ideas come to life in three dimensions.
After the 3D pen activity, the children enjoyed making Rice Krispie treats together as a fun cooking experience. They worked cooperatively to measure ingredients, stir the mixture and help press the treats into the pan. This activity promoted teamwork, following directions and basic cooking skills while creating a fun and rewarding experience for everyone.

They especially enjoyed activities such as making fruit pizza, learning basic sewing skills, planting and caring for flowers and seeds, creating colorful balloon paintings and making wind chimes. These projects encouraged teamwork, problem-solving and self-expression while giving the children opportunities to learn new skills in a fun and engaging way.

We would like to extend a heartfelt farewell to Mr. Platt as he retires from his role with Hart Public Schools. We are incredibly grateful for the many years of support he has shown to the Project FOCUS program and for the strong leadership he has provided throughout the district. His dedication to students, staff, and education has positively influenced so many people and helped shape our school community. It has been a privilege to work with him and learn from his guidance over the years. He will be greatly missed, and we wish him all the best in this next chapter.
