Please read or listen to the book/audiobook prior to the meeting and come prepared to discuss. The PX Book Club occurs bi-monthly and, for planning purposes, registration is required.

This new white paper examines the opportunity to elevate human experience during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. This paper is grounded in firsthand accounts from organizations and patients and family members who highlight the cause and effect of virtual solutions in healthcare. Participants illustrate the necessity of simulated connection during the COVID-19 crisis in order to maintain the human experience in healthcare.

The Emerging Leaders Program is an interactive course designed to help participants harness the power of the eight lenses of the Experience Framework in operationalizing experience improvement with an acknowledgment of the integrated nature of the healthcare experience.
Participants will:
- Build a plan specific to their organization with supporting resources and tested solutions
- Understand the value of and apply the eight lenses of the Experience Framework for experience improvement
- Analyze resources, research and practices associated with each lens
- Generate solutions with peers and mentors

The community NYP serves is one of the most diverse urban areas in the United States with ~50% of patients preferring languages other than English.
