Good morning! The 10th cohort of the President's Leadership Institute has been announced. The Clemson Rocket Engineering team takes its "Pocket Tens" rocket to an international competition this week and In-State Remote Work Program renewals are due July 1.

• The President's Leadership Institute has announced its 10th cohort, which includes 25 faculty and staff members from across the University who demonstrate exceptional performance in their respective areas. 

• Clemson's outdoor summer music series "On the Ave" returns today from 5:30-9 p.m. on College Avenue. For weather-related updates, visit the City of Clemson's Facebook page.

• Assistant Professor David Jacobson (middle) received a National Science Foundation CAREER grant for his research on membrane proteins, which are crucial for cell function. His research aims to create a knowledge base for other studies, including those for potential therapeutic drugs that treat or prevent disease.

WATCH: The Clemson University Rocket Engineering team is set to compete in the International Rocket Engineering Competition in Midland, Texas, from June 9-14. Their entry, a 12-foot rocket named "Pocket Tens," is a tribute to a 2008 quote by football coach Dabo Swinney and symbolizes the team's dedication. Seventy students collaborated over 11 months to design and build the rocket.
