This week’s Fiercely Forward Friday spotlight is Clemson’s high-voltage crew, whose expertise and dedication help power the University every day. This team of skilled electricians maintains an extensive electrical infrastructure across campus, including more than 4,000 street and sidewalk lights, 400 transformers, 16 traffic signals, over 50 miles of underground distribution cable and 20 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations.
Through skill, teamwork and a commitment to service, the high voltage crew helps create a campus where students, faculty, staff and visitors can learn, work and thrive.
