Hi All,
It is time for new enrollment year of 4-H. Keep an eye out for a new marketing campaign for Wisconsin 4-H. I saw it this week on facebook and the television commercial. As new families are visiting clubs, please remember to be open and welcoming. New families or members may not understand many items on the agenda, so having the 4-H pledge available for them to read along increases that opportunity for belonging.
I also wanted to share this information for our certified 4-H leaders:
All volunteers who submitted an enrollment after March 14, 2022 need to complete Title IX training before being approved. Many completed this last spring/summer, but those that did not complete need to complete before being approved this year.
The training is being performed outside of 4-H Online, so the completions need to be manually entered into the system. Reports are sent to me twice a week of who has completed the trainings and then are entered into 4HOnline. There will be a delay between the volunteer completing the training and the recording in 4HOnline. Please wait for a week after the volunteer has completed the training before emailing to ask why it is showing as Incomplete in 4HOnline.
There is a FAQ on the state website HERE. Please see these questions for answers to the most frequently asked. The most asked question is answered in the Questions about Training section.
Question: "I share an email address with another volunteer. How do we both get credit for completing the training?"
Answer: "Send an email to oc.compliancetraining@wisc.edu with your names, email address from 4-H Online, and the program (4-H). They will manually mark your training complete.”
Have a great week!

Nominations Open for 4-H Executive Board & 4-H Endowment Committee
Encourage club volunteers and youth members to serve on these leadership Boards! The 4-H Executive Board members can only serve for two terms at a time, with a total of four years. There are four vacant spots for the board next year and four vacant spots for the youth next year. This rule is put in place so that the same people are not serving the board and new opinions are being put out there. The youth have to be in 7th grade or higher in order to be nominated.
