Alumni and Friends,
Fall is one of our favorite times of year, and we are excited to share just a glimpse of the activity within the college. Students are back on campus, and the college has plenty to be proud of.
Our college is undergoing a major facelift. We have completed several updates to provide a better environment for students and visitors alike. This includes additional study and meeting spaces, as well as classroom renovations. More changes are in the works as we continue to modernize and improve our facilities.
Enrollment in both our undergraduate and graduate programs has increased substantially, and we topped over 4,100 students in the college for the first time. Our majors provide the foundation for exciting and meaningful careers that impact lives within society. Lots of people helped achieve this growth and provide improved opportunities for students. A big thank you to our staff, faculty, and alumni, who support the college in so many ways.
This month, we celebrated 40 years of the School of Financial Planning. To every alumni who reached out, came back, or cheered us on, thank you. You are the reason this milestone means so much. Homecoming is coming up, and we'd love to see you back in Lubbock.
Can't make it? We'll be thinking of you and hope you'll stay in touch.
Wreck 'em,
Tim H. Dodd, Ph.D.
Dean, College of Health & Human Sciences
