New 2018 Journals Announced
Project MUSE is very pleased to announce the new titles joining MUSE's scholarly journal content in 2018. 
Noteworthy new literature titles include:
  • English Language Notes
  • Victorians: A Journal of Culture and Literature
While in performing arts and music, new titles inlcude:
  • Canadian Journal of Film Studies
  • Indiana Theory Review
See the list of new 2018 journals. All new journals become part of the Premium Collection, MUSE's foremost collection of peer reviewed, interdisciplinary journals. One additional journal will be added for 2018 once the contract process is completed. 
Note: two of the titles coming in 2018, Diálogo and Victorians: A Journal of Culture and Literature, are currently available as single subscriptions. If your institution subscribes to the Premium Collection (or will be in 2018) and also subscribes to either or both of these titles as addtional titles, you may not need to subscribe to them as single titles in 2018. 
JHU Press Names New Director
JHU Press recently named publishing industry veteran Barbara Kline Pope as its new director. Since 1997, Pope has served as executive director of the National Academies Press in Washington D.C., steering its traditional print model through an era of digital innovation, including pioneering experiments with open access.
Project MUSE is a division of the Johns Hopkins University Press.

MUSE Partners with Yewno Discover 

MUSE is pleased to announce that its content is now included in Yewno Discover, the research tool that "allows researchers and learners to easily and intuitively explore a visual set of connections across a comprehensive research landscape." According to Yewno co-founder Ruth Pickering, "With over 200 publishers currently partnering with Project MUSE, the new content added to Discover vastly deepens the connections between concepts visualized, ultimately enriching the knowledge discovery experience for researchers and students."
