| Welcome to The Green Room, friends!
This week, the Halloween vibes make their first appearance at First Friday Art Walk with new venues, exhibitions, activities, live music and more.
This month, you'll see art pop-ups in vacant downtown spaces, and the C-Street corridor expansion will have nine venues participating, already growing from last month's five-venue debut. There'll even be a “Rocky Horror Show” preview!
I will also be chatting with Springfield author David Hammons about his new science fiction novel, “Artificial Truth.” The work was released last week and was inspired by AI hallucinations. It follows a future where artificial intelligence starts questioning some of the basic truths humanity holds as unbreakable.
Let’s get into it!
