Alumni Events & Opportunities

|
In honor of Duke’s Centennial and the Sanford School’s namesake, we invited Duke alumni from all over the world to join us for Sanford Serves – collectively serving 100 hours for 100 years of Duke. So far, there have been 49 organizations served through this initiative from 12 different regions. We are pleased to share that we exceeded our goal and are still tracking alumni hours!
With hours still trickling in, we are planning to continue this initiative and look forward to sharing regional #SanfordServe events as the opportunities arise.

The program provides MPP students and MIDP fellows the opportunity to develop a partnership with Sanford’s alumni network. The goal is to offer opportunities for relationship building and guidance during student’s last year as they navigate their future as policymakers. Mentors are responsible for meeting with their mentees monthly from October to April - meetings can include phone calls, video calls, or in-person meetings when applicable.
