It was 21 years ago that coach Kirsten Bernthal Booth stepped in as Creighton’s coach. The Bluejays have been on the rise ever since. And while Booth speaks with pride when discussing the wins, conference titles, NCAA tournaments appearances, All-Americans and soldout crowds, she’s not at all content. She’s a production assistant on the set of the award-winning sitcom Abbott Elementary. It’s quite the gig for someone who not so recently made ends meet by reviewing script proposals. Read more.

It’s the 40th anniversary of a joke. A joke that eventually made national news. Creighton’s football program had not existed since the 1940s, but that didn’t stop a Creightonian student reporter from writing faux sports coverage of its undefeated season in 1983. And eventually, Fr. Morrison was running for a touchdown on national TV. Read more.
