| A Concert and Conversation with Gaelynn Lea
We're so enormously excited to announce that tickets are now on sale for A Concert and Conversation with Gaelynn Lea, taking place on Monday, February 20, 2017 from 6-9pm in Scheid Hall at Surly Brewing Company! Space is very limited, so be sure to book your tickets in advance for this intimate evening of music and conversation with this amazing musician (winner of the NPR 2016 Tiny Desk Contest) and disability awareness advocate. Huge thanks to The Bush Foundation and The Graham Smith Team at Keller Williams Realty for sponsoring this event, which includes a reception with delicious complimentary snacks and a cash bar!

R. Bigelow Foundation, The Bush Foundation, California Institute of Contemporary Arts Foundation, Community Shares of Minnesota, The Greater Milwaukee Foundation (Edith C. and J. Oscar Greenwald Fund, Henriette S. Neverman Fund, and The Children’s Fund), The Nordlys Foundation, The Gladys M. Huge thanks also to all the extraordinary individuals who have made donations to Upstream Arts since our last update. Thanks to your generosity over the past month, we're very close to the halfway point toward our goal of raising $100,000 from our individual supporter community by June 30!
To build on the momentum of this winter, we have a new mini goal of raising $5,000 by February 28.
Thank you for joining us in activating and amplifying the voice and choice of individuals with disabilities. We’re grateful beyond words for your partnership!

| Did you know? Like most nonprofits, we use online platforms like Razoo and GiveMN to make giving as quick and convenient as possible. For us, these services are well worth the small fees that they deduct from each donation and consistently lead to more giving overall. That said, there are still ways to avoid such fees. You can always mail a check directly to Upstream Arts (3501 Chicago Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55407), or see if your bank offers a free online bill pay service. Some of our donors send their monthly contributions fee-free, straight from their banks! Always feel free to call our office at (612) 331-4584 with any questions.
