Lincoln MoneyGuard Update
Lincoln is updating MoneyGuard to be compliant with principle-based reserving (PBR) and 2017 CSO by January 1, 2020. MoneyGuard III is coming at the end of the year, and pricing will increase in some cells over MoneyGuard II.
November 1, 2019 is deadline for any applications. Due to PBR, there is a hard cutoff for MoneyGuard II cases.  All money, including 1035 funds, have to be at Lincoln by December 31, 2019. No exceptions. Transition Rules and Guidelines

New Banner Term Rates and Underwriting Changes
New rates went into effect 8/19/2019, for Banner OPTerm 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 include a mix of decreases and increases. No changes to the highly-competitive rates for OPTerm 35 and 40.
Banner has also implemented new underwriting guidelines, which includes: a new unisex build chart, no routine EKGs for ages 41-50, and new blood pressure limits.
