The Clemson Triathlon will take place on and around main campus on Saturday, June 21, from 7-10 a.m., beginning at the Snow Family Outdoor Fitness and Wellness Complex. Please be aware of the following impacts to traffic around the area:
- During the biking and running portions, vehicle traffic will be stopped temporarily along the route as competitors progress through the event. Portions of Highway 93, Perimeter Road and Cherry Road on campus will be impacted during this time. West Cherry, JP Stevens, Shiloh, Airport and Seneca Creek Roads off campus will also be impacted.
- For the swimming portion, the water adjacent to the beachfront of the Snow Complex will be a no-wake zone.

Clemson University and the South Carolina Office of Resilience (SCOR) are working to launch a new system to track floods and monitor water levels in real time. The system uses sensors called "BridgeBoxes," which provide instant updates during storms and dry weather.

As the director of Counseling and Psychological Services for Student Health Services, Birma Gainor ’95, M ’01, M ’03 oversees the vast network of services supporting student physical and mental health. Gainor also has a black belt in taekwondo, crediting study of martial arts to overcoming various challenges in her own personal health journey.

Clemson University’s Historic Properties' “Brick by Brick: Constructing America’s Identities” speaker series continues throughout the rest of June and July. All events will take place starting at 5:15 p.m. at the Charles K. Cheezem Education Center in Patrick Square, home of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.
