Mazel Tov to the Capital Chai!

Last Thursday, we proudly welcomed more than 300 people to Federation’s Annual Meeting 2022 — held in person for the first time in over two years! Together, we celebrated the incredible Capital Chai, 18 leaders shaping our community’s future, and welcomed our newest lay leadership: Federation’s FY23 Board of Directors and Jewish Community Foundation Trustees. Save the Date: Jewish Community Day at Nationals Park

Jewish Community Day at Nationals Park is BACK! Join Federation and community members from across Jewish Greater Washington at Nationals Park on Sunday August 28^th as the Washington Nationals take on the Cincinnati Reds at 1:35 PM. $5 from every ticket sold will benefit Federation’s work to meet critical needs locally and around the world. Ukraine Relief Efforts

Federation and our partners on the ground in Ukraine continue the crucial work of supporting Ukraine's 200,000+ Jews — as millions of Ukrainians flee or are internally displaced by the ongoing war. To date, Federation’s Ukraine Emergency Fund and Federations across North America have raised a collective $64 million to meet urgent needs estimated to cost $99 million, and we are immensely grateful to the thousands of donors who have given so generously.
