In April, Larry (’80 B.B.A.) and Reginalea Kemp signed an endowment agreement that will provide scholarships for undergraduate students in the College of Business and also benefit the basketball program in the Athletics Department.

Jody Grant Keynotes 2014 Executive Dinner
On April 23, the College of Business and the Arlington Chamber of Commerce hosted the annual Executive Dinner, attended by more than 350 students, alumni, faculty and business leaders. Guest speaker Jody Grant, a banking-industry magnate, was awarded the Goolsby Leadership Medallion. Read more
Spring 2014 Commencement Ceremony packs College Park Center
Nearly 600 bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree candidates walked across the College Park Center stage at the College of Business Commencement Ceremony Saturday, May 10. John Terrell, vice president of Commercial Development, DFW International Airport and mayor of Southlake, Texas, was guest speaker. Read more
Leadership Focus of Business Week 2014
The college’s annual Business Week, March 17-22, included nearly 30 executives and business leaders who spoke to classes. John Merrill, founder and president of Tanglewood Wealth Management, Michael Chaffin, business manager for Nelly, and other leaders shared their experiences and case studies with students. Read more
Outstanding Alumni Awards 2014
In February, the College of Business recognized alumni Robert Earley, Nick Barber and Greg Barron for their outstanding career achievements and service to the college and the community. Read more
Goolsby Leadership Academy Celebrates 10 Years of Leadership Development
In 10 years, more than 250 scholars have benefitted from the networking opportunities and leadership development in the Goolsby Leadership Academy. Alumni, faculty, supporters and current students gathered to celebrate in April. Read more
Outstanding Faculty and Staff Recognized
To close the spring semester, College of Business Dean Rachel Croson awarded outstanding faculty and staff for their contributions to the college during the 2013-14 academic year. Read more
Beta Gamma Sigma Inducts New Members
On April 15, 52 students were inducted into the international business honor society. Alumnus Steve Fleming ('86 B.B.A.), vice president of Administration at Ben E. Keith, spoke. Read more
