| Dr. Max Petersen has received the 2025 AHA Career Development Award to investigate the mechanisms behind ketogenic diet-induced hypercholesterolemia. His research will explore why some normal-weight individuals experience elevated cholesterol levels on a high-fat, low-carbohydrate diet.
