This fall, Wisconsin 4-H will be encouraging members (ages 13-18) to complete a survey about their 4-H experience. The survey was developed by National 4-H Leaders and will help Wisconsin 4-H learn about the quality of our programs.
Watch your email inbox (the one you use with 4H Online) the first week of November for your link to participate in the Wisconsin 4-H Thriving Survey! Youths ages 13-18 will receive a link to share their input about their 4-H experiences. The results will help us evaluate and communicate how 4-H helps young people learn new things, develop leadership skills, manage goals, set high personal standards, create positive academic attitudes, and other skills that lead to long-term success in life. Youths who complete the survey will be entered into a raffle to win a $25 gift card!
We are still recruiting for 3 AmeriCorps members to assist us in growing 4-H in Dodge County by fostering new partnerships and creating new clubs throughout the county. The position is open to anyone 18+ who has an interest in working with youth and making a difference in our community. One opportunity is Jan-Aug, and 2 others will be May-Aug. Please share information about the position with anyone you know that might be interested, and/or have them contact the office. An interesting benefit to this position is that a grandparent can transfer the educational award to their grandchild to help offset their student loans.
