Tell us a little about GACCA. How long has it been in business? Why did you start it?
I started GACCA in June 2020 after realizing I could bridge the gap between businesses and the residential community to promote a safe environment for all. I own it, run it, eat it and sleep it, along with almost 10 employees. We mainly supported residential starting out and now we're getting into more commercial. That's the goal, to pivot to more commercial. The main goal is to promote POM - peace of mind.
What specifically will you be doing for Metro South CID?
We'll be providing security patrols, community outreach, advocating for businesses. Generally, we will work from Friday to Monday at various times, normally night and early morning. I'll give my personal number to residents soon and will come by to help as much as possible. Recently, we stopped a dumping at Cedar Grove Road where they were trying to dump washers and dryers.
Do you have any tips for business owners to maximize their safety and security?
Lights and cameras! Be as much of a deterrent as possible.
What makes your company different from other security companies?
We care about the community that we serve. We are actively trying to bridge the gap between commercial and residential, which takes a collaborative effort to do properly. We believe security equals freedom.
