Join us for CATCH Open Academy!
This July 13-15, CATCH will be holding an open training academy that any individuals can enroll in. The training academy is designed for K-8 CATCH implementations. If your school or community would like to participate in a training, but doesn't have the budget or attendance to hold one locally, this solution was designed for you!
The cost is $500 for one day of implementation training, or $800 for a three day "Train the Trainer" designed to enable you to train others in your school community. Space is limited! For more information, visit our website.
First Sun Safety Training Complete
CATCH Global Foundation, in conjunction with The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, has trained the first round of trainers to implement Ray and the Sunbeatables™: A Sun Safety Curriculum for Preschoolers.
Eleven trainers gathered in Austin, TX this month for two days to learn the curriculum in preparation to head home and teach others in their communities how to implement the sun safety program developed by MD Anderson. CATCH trainers Peter Cribb and Joey Walker led the group in a training that included teacher videos, sun safety activities, and role modeling. Read the full story on our blog.
Blue Lizard Sunscreen signs on as CATCH's official sunscreen partner
