“Rushmore” (1998)

When a teacher arrives at a prep school, she attracts the attention of an ambitious teen named Max, who quickly falls in love with her. Max turns to the father of two of his schoolmates for advice on how to woo her. The situation gets complicated when Max’s new friend becomes involved with her, setting the two pals against each other. Cost: Student $4; Faculty/Staff $6.

NDSF 2019: Shakespeare After Hours

NDSF 2019: ShakeScenes

Returning to Washington Hall is ShakeScenes, an annual, family-friendly event featuring performances from dozens of young people from throughout Michiana. Now in its 16th year, ShakeScenes offers a unique spin on some of Shakespeare’s most famed works. Tickets: $10.

Liverpool and BVB Invite You to Training July 18 Inside ND Stadium

Liverpool F.C. and Borussia Dortmund invite Notre Dame students, faculty/staff and their immediate families to their practices inside Notre Dame Stadium to attend a free and exclusive “first look” at the teams.
Weather permitting, on Thursday, July 18 — the day before the anticipated preseason match — each club will train on the newly installed grass pitch at the stadium. The stadium will remain open between practices. See the full article for entrance and seating information
(The public is not invited to Thursday’s event. A member must have a NDid card.) The Clear Bag Policy will apply to this event, and metal detectors will be in use as well.

Closures, Openings, Limited Hours and Cancellations

The Mahaffey Business Library will be closed for remodeling July 18-Aug. 5

The Business Library will continue to provide a range of services including circulation of materials and reference via “Ask A Business Librarian.” The space will be closed and there will be no access to Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Datastream or Morningstar Direct. Safety, Parking and Traffic

Circle Drive Behind Main Building Closed

The circle drive north of the Main Building (Sorin Court) will be closed through Saturday, July 20. The planned closure is due to utilities work that must be completed in preparation for the Brownson Hall Replacement Project.

Phase 3 of Basilica Construction Begins

Corby Drive will be closed from Monday, July 22, through Friday, Aug. 9. The temporary delivery/drop-off route will be used during this phase. See the area map for details.

Okta Goes Live July 29 — Have You Enrolled?

Okta, the new two-step login service, goes live on Monday, July 29. All faculty, staff and students must enroll in Okta, and select the preferred devices required to complete the two-step login process. Completing the enrollment before July 29 will ensure uninterrupted access to Notre Dame services like your Gmail account, Google Apps, Sakai, Box, etc.
