November 6, 2024
See you tonight, November 6, for a supper of poppy seed chicken at 5:45 pm and then Intergenerational Table Talk at 6:20.
Youth Fundraiser Dinner, November 13: We'll be serving soup, grilled cheese, salad, and dessert as a youth ministry fundraiser at the last Wednesday Re:treat night of the semester. Reserve your place here by noon on November 11.
Join your church family for a day trip to Laurel, Mississippi, Thursday, November 21. We will meet at Parkway Hills at 8:30 am, load up and head to the Lauren Rogers Museum of Art (requested by Charles Guess).  Admission to the museum is free, but donations are accepted. After the art museum we will head to lunch (location TBA), and possibly enjoy some other Laurel attractions that afternoon.  Bring your own spending money and we will update everyone about the cost of transportation closer to time. We do ask that you register by Monday, November 18 via this link or by calling the church office. See Pastor Dawn if you have any questions.

'Tis the season to be practicing for our Christmas worship services!

We'll continue to practice at 9:30 am in the Garden Room Sunday. Kids ages 3 through 5th grade are learning songs with our Music Director, David White, for the Children's Christmas service on Dec. 8 and to join the adults for the choir cantata on Dec. 15.
After our singing time, the children will move into age-appropriate Sunday School classes. We always need volunteers to aid with our kids ministry.
