October YMHFA Training Opportunity

UW-Madison Division of Extension is happy to provide this training as a part of our Title V MCH - Adolescent Well-Being Technical Assistance. A minimum of 10 and a maximum of 30 registrations are required. The course includes 2 hours of pre-work to be completed at least 24 hours before the start. Full attendance with the camera on during the Zoom session is required.

DHS Updates

Local Health Department 2025 MCH Contract Negotiations:

The Title V/MCH team hosted an Open Forum on September 25th to discuss the 2025 consolidated contract negotiations. Registered attendees will receive an email with the recording link once available. There are 8 MCH Objectives to choose from, and you may select more than one. The Supplement (Alchemer Survey link), GAC entry, and Excel Budget are due by November 1st. For questions, contact your contract administrator or email the MCH mailbox at dhsdphmch@dhs.wisconsin.gov.

Quarter 3 Reporting - Beginning Quarter 4:

As we wrap up Quarter 3, remember the Alchemer Q3 report is due by October 31st. For assistance with your agency-specific Alchemer link, contact your contract administrator or the MCH mailbox. As we enter Quarter 4, assess your needs to complete 2024 activities and reach out to UW-Extension or your contract administrator for guidance.

Final Opportunity

Join the final WeCOPE class for Local and Tribal Health Department staff in 2024 by accessing the flyer and registration here! The series runs on Wednesdays from October 16 to November 27, 11:30am-12:30pm.

WeCOPE provides self-care practice and 11 coping skills for managing stress. This free course is part of our MCH-Adolescent Well-Being program. A minimum of 10 and a maximum of 30 registrations are required. Register by October 10th to receive materials on time.
