Welcome to the team, Jordan!
Jordan Perry is our new Student Leadership Coordinator! She is a current third-year student majoring in Biology with a co-major in Neuroscience and a minor in Spanish. Jordan participated in the Scholar Leader LLC last year and helped plan the Winter Immersion Service Experience (WISE) trip to Nashville. Jordan will be mentoring LCP participants and working with the Lessons in Leadership, MPACT, and Strengths Initiative teams!

What: Wilks will be at Winter Mega Fair to discuss what our office can do for you! Come talk to our SLCs and bring questions about our upcoming events! 

When: February 7th (tomorrow!) from 5:00-8:00pm
LIL: Luncheon with Judith Kaufmann
What: We will be hosting Judith Kaufmann, a Miami graduate and former Director of the Office of International Health at the State Department. She has 20 years of experience as a policy maker, consultant, and writer on matters of global health and diplomacy.

When: February 12th from 12:15-1:30pm

Where: Armstrong 2078

Leadership Certificate Program: Round Two!
What: We are opening applications again to join the Leadership Certificate Program! Interested candidates must attend an orientation to learn about the program and meet our SLCs.

National Better Together Day Opportunity

National Better Together Day is April 10th, and the Office of Community Engagement and Service is looking for programs to celebrate interfaith understanding and social justice.

1) Create a program with your student org or a group of friends to promote interaction between at least 2 religious, spiritual, or secular perspectives.
2) Send an outline, budget, and timeline to Sara Williams (willi668@miamioh.edu) by March 2nd.
3) Receive marketing and financial support from OCES and put on an awesome event!
