| We’re getting ready for this summer’s RVRMA Board of Directors election, an important opportunity for our community to come together and help choose the leaders who will help guide us forward.
Per the RVRMA Bylaws, board members serve three-year terms with no term limits. Each year, a portion of the board positions come up for election. This year, the terms of two dedicated board members, Vice President John Lund and Director Sherry Stripling, will expire. If they choose, John and Sherry may seek re-election by declaring their candidacy, just as any other homeowner can.
Interested in serving your community?
If you're a homeowner who would like to get involved in serving your community and shaping the future of RVR, we encourage you to consider running for a seat on the Board. The deadline to declare your candidacy is today, Friday, June 6.
Click here for the Statement of Interest Application form.

Friendly Reminder: Please Leash Your Pup |
We know that many dogs love to meet and greet people and other dogs when they are out for a walk. It's important to keep in mind that there are folks in the neighborhood, for a variety of reasons, that cannot or would rather not, socialize with dogs. Some dogs that you come across on the walking trail may also be nervous or anxious around others. Dog owners can help eliminate this potential fear and uneasiness by clearly and respectfully using a dog leash.
We appreciate your efforts towards courteous pet ownership and helping to preserve the peaceful enjoyment of River Valley Ranch!
And don’t forget — Carbondale’s leash laws apply in RVR.
