The Keys to Work Safe, Play Smart
Prevent and respond with updated software
Hackers can exploit vulnerabilities in unpatched software. Updating or patching your software means you are less vulnerable to security risks. One of the easiest ways to keep your information secure is by making sure your software and apps are updated.
These updates fix general software problems and provide new security patches where criminals might get in. If a software update becomes available on your device, do it promptly. Better yet, enable your phone or any other smart device to auto-update.
Please Note: When downloading a software update, only get it from the company that created it. Hacked, pirated, or unlicensed software versions often contain malware and cause more problems than they solve. Learn more below!
