WELCOME TO INTRODUCKTION 2020!
To kick off our virtual experience, you'll be meeting with your SOSer and flock groups this week to discuss what our programming will look like throughout the summer. Watch for the email from your SOSer with the link to your virtual flock meeting.
FACULTY PERSPECTIVES
The first weekly faculty perspectives mock class sessions start Thursday, July 9. You'll need to join 10 sessions total over the course of the summer. This week's topics and registration links below.
  • Engage with world-renowned UO researchers to explore the Impact of COVID-19 on local and global communities at 10:30 a.m. PDT.
  • Join faculty working to understand and address social inequities and to create paths for community change in the sesson on Anti-racism and Black Lives Matter at noon PDT.
  • Understanding and addressing climate change is crucial to protecting our shared future. UO faculty share their work on the Environment and Climate Change at 1:30 p.m. PDT.
  • Meet with UO writers, artists, performers, and scholars working to understand humanistic endeavors and how these impact our world in the Engaged Humanities at 3:00 p.m. PDT.
  • Study start-ups and business models to generate bold answers for some of society's hardest questions in an exploration of Innovation and Entrepeneurship at 4:30 p.m. PDT.
