Alumnus receives project management award 
John Briesmeister (MSPM, '15), pictured with Instructor Ginger Levin and Program Coordinator Bill Haskins, received the 2016 Donald S. Barrie Award from the Project Management Institute Educational Foundation. The award recognizes a paper that advances knowledge in the engineering and construction industry.

New Year's resolution: connect more
We've been working hard to come up with better ways to connect with our alumni and for them to connect with each other. The result: several new things are happening for distance alumni in 2017. For starters, the Alumni Connection will be published every month!

Honoring our veterans
The Distance Learning Center devoted the month of November to honoring its student veterans and alumni, as well as the veterans in staff members' lives, by sharing their stories and photos.
