Dear Class of 2024,

We hope you are off and running into a warm and eventful summer.  I know the spring has been a challenge but I am excited to get our new group of Friars to Fenwick.

I am writing today to share some details on a Summer Skills Packet, the Required Summer Reading, and our optional Math and Language placement exams.

If interested in placing into a level II language or a math class beyond where you have been placed, please consider signing up for an exam below.

As we begin to move into summer, we will continue to send information on the transition to Fenwick. Please review the information below to help begin the summer transition. This is going to be a very exciting class!

Warmest Regards,

Joe Ori '03

To prepare themselves for the Math and English classrooms, we suggest incoming freshmen brush up on the following areas and skillsets. Teachers will review these before moving to more advanced content and practices, but their review will be done with the understanding that incoming freshmen have some grasp on this material. Resource systems are in place at Fenwick for those struggling in these areas.
Summer Skills Packet - CP Algebra I
Summer Skills Packet - Honors Algebra II
Summer Skills Packet - English
We also suggest incoming freshmen use the required summer reading to practice some of the skills herein listed. The summer reading list is also accessible on the school website.
