DASA Sets New Gift Total Record on Day of Giving

Once again, the Wolfpack pulled together to help the Division of Academic and Student Affairs earn a tremendous amount of support on NC State’s 2024 Day of Giving. On the day, the division raised more than $500,000 through 2,558 gifts, the most cumulative gifts DASA has earned in Day of Giving History.

  • April 6-7 is an OIT extended maintenance weekend.
  • Reminder: The end of the current fiscal year is fast approaching. March 29 is the due date for large purchase requests ($5,000 or more), and April 30 is the date for all other purchase requests to be initiated for the 2024 purchase requests.
  • Supervisors of SHRA employees should register now for Wolfpack Performance training, held on March 27, April 4 or April 8.
  • Multicultural Student Affairs presents the 33rd annual NC State Powwow on Saturday, March 30 from 12-5 p.m. on Miller Field. The event will showcase Native business vendors, traditional drum groups and Indigenous dance styles.
  • WKNC’s Local Lunch Live will run weekly for the next six weeks at The Corner on Centennial Campus. Bring your lunch or check out the food trucks.
  • Four exhibitions are currently running at the Gregg Museum of Art & Design: “Leading by Design,” “Selections from the Collections,” “The Art of John Mark Hall” and “Material Messages: The Tales That Textiles Tell.”
  • The Gregg Museum of Art & Design and the College of Design have added a closing reception April 11 for the “Leading by Design” exhibition. Registration is required, and the deadline is April 1.
  • A University Theatre production of “Ada and the Engine” will run April 4-14 at Titmus Theatre, with 7:30 p.m. evening showings and 2 p.m. Sunday matinees.
  • Dominick Rapone: Nature’s Whispers” is open through April 22 at the Crafts Center.
  • Remind your students that submissions for the Student Art Sale are due March 31.
  • Faculty and staff can purchase discounted tickets via an interest-free payment plan for the NC State football team’s game against Tennessee at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte on Sept. 7.
