Coming Soon: A New Way to Manage Student Accounts and Billing |
|

|
| Beginning July 23, all student billing, refunds, and the ability to set up payment plans will move to the Bursar card in Experience. Some features are already live!
If you do not see the Bursar card on your homepage, select View All Cards and bookmark it. For the best experience, we recommend using Google Chrome.
To help make the transition easier, there are a few important steps you can complete now.

Important! Payments Unavailable July 21 at 3:00 p.m. – July 22 |
Online payments will be temporarily unavailable starting 3 p.m. July 21 through July 22 as we switch systems. Please pay any necessary balances before July 21. Payments reopen July 23 in the Bursar card, and your existing balance will be transferred.

Do These Three Things Now: |
1. Set Up Direct Deposit for Refunds |
If you receive financial aid refunds or other student refunds, you should set up Direct Deposit as soon as possible.
Even if you had this set up in myOleMiss, you’ll need to re-enter your bank info in Experience. Go to the Bursar card > Refunds. Enter your bank routing number and checking/savings number.

2. Add a Parent or Guardian as an Authorized User |
If a parent, guardian, or family member helps pay your college expenses, you should set them up as an Authorized User.
This is optional but strongly encouraged so they can view statements and make payments. Go to the Bursar card > My Profile > Authorized Users.
|
3. Add a Parent or Guardian as a Proxy |
Setting up a parent or guardian as a proxy allows them to view grades, financial aid, and other records you choose to share (optional but strongly encouraged). Go to the General Self-Service card > Proxy Management > Add New. Follow these demo videos: Step 1 for students, Step 2 for parents.

Important:
Adding someone as an Authorized User doesn't give them Proxy access, and vice versa.
|

|
- July 21 at 3:00 p.m. – July 22: Online student payment services will be unavailable.
- July 23: Student billing services become available through the Bursar card in Experience. Students can begin making payments and enrolling in payment plans.

August 1: Fall 2026 billing statements become available and will be emailed to students.
- August 15: Tuition and fee payment deadline.
- October 15: Holds are applied for fall charges.

October 31: A service fee of 1.5% will accrue on any unpaid balance and will appear on the monthly Bursar statement.

Other Upcoming Information
Payment Plans Available July 23
Beginning July 23, students may enroll in a payment plan through the Bursar card in Experience. Payment plans allow eligible balances to be paid over three installments during the semester.
Bill Factoring in Financial Aid
We are working to provide a more streamlined billing experience by displaying eligible financial aid information alongside your student account balance. Additional information will be shared as this functionality becomes available.
Tax Documents and Additional Payment Options
Information about accessing Form 1098-T, international payment options, and 529 plan payments will be shared later this summer as these services become available in the new system.
