*Updated* Guide for Patient Navigators
The George Washington University Cancer Center is excited to share our updated Guide for Patient Navigators! This guide is a supplement to our Oncology Patient Navigator Training: The Fundamentals. The 508 compliant guide provides updated resources and tools for program implementation. The comprehensive, competency-based training uses evidence-based information and case studies to prepare patient navigators to effectively address barriers to care for cancer patients and survivors. *Webinar* Engaging Survivors in Comprehensive Cancer Control Coalitions

Comprehensive Cancer Control National Partnership Coalition Check-In
The CCCNP hosts quarterly Zoom check-ins focused on maintaining successful coalitions during uncertain times. CCC coalitions and programs are invited to join the Sustaining Coalitions workgroup for the next installment on May 17 from 4:00-4:30 Eastern Time. Iowa Cancer Consortium Seeks Grant Reviewers
The Iowa Cancer Consortium is looking for individuals experienced in comprehensive cancer control who live and work outside of the state, to review grant applications. Each reviewer will score two to four applications for the FY23 Iowa Cancer Plan Implementation Grants. Applications will be electronically disseminated to reviewers in mid-May, with scores due on June 3. Interested? Contact Liz Orton, Outreach Coordinator, Iowa Cancer Consortium.

Cancer Survivorship E-Learning Series for Clinicians
Does your program or coalition partner with health systems or providers? Clinicians play a critical role in providing follow-up care for cancer survivors, such as the management of physical and psychological challenges experienced during and after treatment. Share the GW Cancer Center's Cancer Survivorship E-Learning Series for Clinicians with your partners today. Participants will learn the nuts and bolts of patient-centered survivorship care, the late effects of cancer and its treatment, prevention strategies, and so much more. The E-Learning Series is a free, self-paced training that provides accreditation for CHES/MCHES (Certified Health Education Specialists/Master Certified Health Education Specialists), nurses, and physicians.
