We are excited to announce that our keynote presentation for our inaugural conference at Montgomery College will be made by George L. Askew, MD.
|
Welcome Dr. Askew to our inaugural conference! He is the President and CEO of the Meyer Foundation, which pursues and invests in solutions that build an equitable Greater Washington community in which economically disadvantaged people thrive. He is the former Deputy Chief Administrative Officer for Health, Human Services, and Education for Prince George’s County, Maryland, and also the former Deputy Commissioner of Health in the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene where he was responsible for overseeing and managing the Division of Family and Child Health. Prior to that he was appointed by the Obama Administration to serve as the first Chief Medical Officer for the Administration for Children and Families at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Welcome Jasmine to our inaugural conference! She is the CEO of Montgomery Community Media (MCM), which providing access to public media (public access television and broadband media) directly to Montgomery County’s over one million residents as well as the resident non-profit organizations, associations and businesses.
