The Florida Supreme Court has extended the suspension of jury trials through July 2, 2020 while my office continues to limit in person services in order to safeguard everyone during COVID-19.
Please read our online coronavirus update for more details and the latest information about closures, available services, frequently asked questions, and more. We are closely monitoring developments and working with our judicial and government partners on a coordinated response.

Deputy Clerks were all Decked Out for Denim Day
I was thrilled to see that many of the deputy clerks in my office participated in Denim Day 2020. On Wednesday, April 29, I invited my teams to join millions of people across the world by wearing jeans to bring awareness to the misconceptions surrounding sexual assault. I appreciate their enthusiasm and support toward this important cause.

Below, I've included collages featuring many of the photos submitted. I hope you enjoy them!

“Denim Day” derives from an ever-growing campaign that began after a ruling by the Italian Supreme Court regarding sexual violence. To read more about the origins of “Denim Day”, visit denimdayinfo.org.
2020 Report to the Citizens of Orange County
In case you missed it last month, the Orange County Clerk of Courts 2020 Report to the Citizens is now available.
We create a report every year so citizens can see all the work we do to support the courts and provide services to our customers. For my staff and me, it’s an opportunity to look back at the work we have done and our many accomplishments during the past fiscal year.
As in years past, the report contains important information on  technological advancements we've incorporated, our community impact, the financial health of the office, expansion of services, and our commitment to enhance customer service.
This year, the report is available as an interactive "clickable" PDF for download. While we intended this to be a step toward continuing the digital transformation of our services, it feels especially timely with the current state of the global pandemic. I am glad citizens can immediately review the digital report safely from their homes during these uncertain times, and I hope this can be a welcome break from the constant stream of news about COVID-19.
I hope you will take a moment to read our report, paying special attention to the deputy clerks who make it happen.
