| RECLAIM community feedback survey |
RECLAIM is undertaking a strategic planning process to guide our work over the next few years. As part of this, we want to hear from you! Please take a moment to complete our 5 question survey - it will only take a minute. As a member of our community, your perspective is critical to helping RECLAIM best meet the needs of queer and trans youth in our state.

Mimi is a second generation Japanese-American social worker who is dedicated to anti-oppressive practice. She received her BA in Psychology at the University of Minnesota Morris, and her MSW from the University of Minnesota.
Mimi's approach to therapy is holistic, client-centered and relational; she believes that collaboration and partnership is the most important part of the therapeutic process, and that the client is the expert of their own lives. Everyone is different, and she believes that using multiple styles of therapy to find out what resonates with each person is crucial, rather than sticking strictly to one modality. Her multicultural, anti-oppressive, and trauma-informed perspective in therapy is rooted in her own lived experiences, as well as her passion of providing affirming services for people who experience marginalization and oppression.
She is an avid writer in her free time and enjoys playing music on various instruments, playing video games, and watching way too much reality TV.

See Carrie Color - No Room For Hate |
Carrie Jarvis, one of RECLAIM's board members and the creative force of See Carrie Color, has created a "No Room For Hate In Our State" sign in response to recent vandalism of pride flags in her neighborhood in Saint Paul. Carrie wrote, "The vandal thought they could make Pride invisible by destroying it. Our response was to show solidarity and love for the LGBTQ+ community, making our existence far more visible. A Go Fund Me was set up to replace the flags destroyed; in addition to flags, I have designed this yard sign for continued support and love."
You can order a sign online through the button below through See Carrie Color. Proceeds benefit RECLAIM and Transforming Families MN.
