Upcoming Seminars and Events

This is a half-day workshop for Miami University faculty to reflect on their past year of teaching and get excited about the year that’s beginning. Participants will explore concepts in teaching effectiveness through James Lang's Small Teaching framework model, be introduced to level-2 teaching concepts that enhance instructional effectiveness, and investigate ideas for using AI in modern education. Lunch will be included.

Due to the topic’s popularity, the CTE is hosting an additional book discussion Bowen and Watson’s Teaching With AI during Welcome Week. We supply the books and facilitate the discussion (via Zoom).
