Dear LCA Families,

I hope this letter finds you well. As we conclude the first week of the new school year, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the week’s events and share some important information with you.

The energy and excitement that filled our school corridors were truly remarkable. It was a pleasure to see our students eagerly reconnecting with their friends and teachers, and witnessing the curiosity and enthusiasm they brought into their classrooms. The first day of school is always a special time, full of promise and potential, and I am confident that this year will be no exception.

Our dedicated faculty and staff worked diligently to ensure a smooth and positive start to the school year. Their commitment to your children's education is truly inspiring, from preparing engaging lessons, to creating a warm and welcoming environment. As we move forward, please know we are here to support both you and your child in any way we can.

We have scheduled Back to School Orientations for both Upper and Elementary School. These evenings are designed to provide you with more detailed information about our curriculum, extracurricular activities, and important school events. We are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead and look forward to working in partnership with you to provide the best possible education for your child.

Communication is key to a successful school year, and I encourage you to reach out to us with any questions, concerns, or suggestions you may have. We value your feedback and believe that our collaboration will contribute to the growth and development of our school community.

Once again, I want to express my gratitude for entrusting us with your child's education. We take this responsibility seriously and are committed to fostering a safe and enriching learning environment. We are so excited about the days ahead and are looking forward to what Jesus will do at LCA during the 2023-24 school year.

LCA Parent Coffee

Wednesdays in September

All LCA parents are invited to join us for coffee on Wednesdays in September from 8:30-9:30am in The Stay Café! This is a great way to meet new friends, learn more about LCA, and enjoy a time of fellowship. We can't wait to see you beginning Wednesday, September 6!

ASB Fundraiser

Friday, September 8

Our High School ASB is sponsoring a Comfy Dress Fundraiser on Friday, September 8 to benefit those impacted by the fires in Maui. The cost is $5 per child and we will collect cash at the door during morning drop off. All grade levels are welcome and invited to participate.

Picture Day

September 11, 12, & 18

Picture Day is coming up soon at LCA and we can't wait to see all of your beautiful smiles! Early Childhood classes will have their pictures taken on September 11 and 12 and your assigned date will be shared by your child's teacher. Picture Day for grades K-12 is on Monday, September 18 and we ask that all students wear their best chapel dress. Order forms will be sent home with students in the coming days.

Back to School Nights

September 12 & 19

As the new school year begins, we would like to invite you to our Back to School Night: LCA Orientation events on Tuesday, September 12 for Upper School and Tuesday, September 19 for Elementary School. This evening is designed to give you a glimpse into your child's daily school experience and show you the exciting things we have planned for the upcoming year. We look forward to seeing you!

Parent's Night Out

Monthly Dates

Join us for Parent's Night Out! This is a great opportunity to drop your kiddos off at LCA and date your spouse, refill your energy tank, or enjoy an evening of fellowship. For more information, or to register, please fill out this form.

ASB Movie Night

Friday, September 15

ASB is excited to present High School Movie Night, featuring Top Gun Maverick! LCA students in grades 9-12 are invited to join us in the KAC on Friday, September 15 at 7:30pm. Admission is free and popcorn is provided. Snacks available for purchase.

College Fair

Tuesday, September 26

All LCA families are invited to attend the National Christian College Fair, hosted by Life Christian Academy, on Tuesday, September 26 in the Korum Activity Center. For more information, please click here. We hope you will join us!

Student Parking

This year, for safety and security purposes, we are requiring all high school students who drive to school to complete this form to register your vehicle. Please contact Assistant Principal Josh Mitchell if you have any questions. Thank you for your cooperation with this new policy.

CDL Driver

Life Christian Academy and Life Center are currently seeking a part time CDL Bus Driver. LCA/LC Bus Drivers will pick up and drop off students on assigned routes and transport athletic teams to sporting events. For more information, or to apply, please click here.

Fall Family Festival

Friday, October 20

Save the date! Our annual Fall Family Festival is coming up on Friday, October 20 and you won't want to miss it! This will be a fun-filled evening of carnival games, food trucks, and entertainment for the whole family! Admission is free and we can't wait to see you there!

Life Center Build Nights

Join Us!

Have you heard about Build Nights? Each Wednesday there are many opportunities to dive deeper and be in relationship with Jesus and others through prayer, groups, and classes. Build Night provides spiritual growth opportunities for everyone, no matter where you find yourself in your faith journey.

If your child will be tardy or absent, please contact us each morning at attendance@life-christian.org so we can update attendance records and notify teachers. If you have any questions, please reach out, we would love to help!

Parent involvement is a vital factor in the success of our children and we are grateful for your participation. We value the time you give to LCA and we ask that you fill our our PEP Hours Form so we can keep your hours on file.
