If you are planning to cast a ballot next Tuesday, the Mark and Paula Hurd Welcome Center is a designated polling place for McLennan County and is the convenient, on-campus location many students have requested. You might notice additional traffic in the area on Election Day, so bring your patience and consider walking to the Hurd instead of driving.

Need to get started on those final semester projects? Looking for an optimal workspace? The GWC is here for you! On Wednesday, November 13th from 6:00-9:00 pm we have reserved Be Kind Coffee for grad students who wish to use it as a workspace, with consultants on standby to answer any writing questions. Additionally, the first 20 attendees to arrive will receive a free coffee or tea priced at up to $5, compliments of the GWC. So, stop by and get a head start on those assignments!

Join us for a performance by Indigenous ACE (Arts, Culture, and Education), from the Indigenous Cultures Institute in San Antonio features traditional dancers, musicians, and singers plus explanations of traditions. This group includes men, women, and children. This organization is made up of close family and friends that represent several tribes (Saponi, Comanche, Apache, Alabama-Coushatta, Chickasaw, Navajo, Wastec). Mayborn Museum members and Baylor University students receive free admission.

The Graduate School is eager to support students and their original research through two kinds of travel support to students who are formally registered for credit hours: Travel to Professional Meetings and Travel to Support Doctoral Research. **ALL applications must be submitted at least four weeks prior to travel to be considered.**  Please see more here.
