Library Beehive updates
Meet the bees up close in June
The BeeChicas split the Booked Bee Bed and Breakfast (B4) Hive to repopulate the #BeeLiterate hive this week at the Main Library. We’re looking forward to two healthy hives to help pollinate our Edible Learning Garden and pollinator corridors!
B4 has at least 10 queen cells that we expect to hatch our new queen. Keep an eye on the hives for honey bee activity as well as native bees starting to populate the new Native Bee House by the pedestrian bridge.

Recommended Read
The Descent of ALETTE by Alice Notley
"This book is radical for many reasons. It is a poetic epic. It is the story of a woman killing a tyrant. It became popular with a diverse audience, from experimental poetry appreciators to Gamers. It is heavily inspired by Notley's dreams. This is all to say that the book is a rewarding read."
