2026 Energy Week Energy Case Competition: Deadline March 24
UT Energy Week Interdisciplinary Energy Case Competition invites UT Austin graduate students from all disciplines to collaborate, innovate and develop real-world solutions to pressing challenges in the energy sector. Participants will work in interdisciplinary teams and present their solutions to a panel of experts for the chance to win $500! The competition will take place during UT Energy Week, April 7- 9.
- Sign up with a team of 3-5 graduate students from at least 3 different disciplines.
- Teams will receive the case challenge at the kickoff breakfast on Monday, April 7.
- Develop and submit your solution within 4 hours, and then present to a panel of expert judges on Wednesday, April 8.
- Winning team receives $500 at the Energy Week networking lunch on Thursday, April 9.

Judges needed for the 25th Anniversary CNS Undergraduate Research Forum Friday, April 17, noon–4:30 p.m., Welch Hall
Graduate students and postdocs are invited to serve as judges at the CNS Tech & Science Undergraduate Research Forum. Judging is a valuable professional development opportunity to build mentorship, feedback and research evaluation skills while supporting undergraduate researchers. Students from all colleges and programs are welcome to sign up to judge.
The Resilient Scientist Webinar Series
This free, five-part workshop series offer practical tools to help graduate students and postdocs navigate challenges and thrive in their research environments. Through interactive sessions, participants will explore topics such as well-being, imposter fears, communication, feedback and mentoring relationships.
