  1. The Graduate School is now on Instagram and LinkedIn! Be sure to follow us for important graduate-related information, events, and opportunities!

  2. You're invited to the Virtual Social Innovation Master's Project Presentations on July 28 from 6-8 p.m.! Students, faculty, and friends are all welcome to learn from five Social Innovation graduate students as they showcase and defend their culminating projects.

  3. Networking opportunity for STEM students: MISTEM Connect will be held at the Muskegon Innovation Hub on June 23. Interested students will be able to network with businesses for potential internship opporunities! Live music, food, and drinks will be provided.

  4. Students completing a thesis or dissertation in the Spring/Summer semester can check deadlines, review guidelines, and find resources on TGS' website. The final day to defend thesis or dissertation for this semester is July 20. The final day to submit documents is August 10.

  5. The Knowledge Market provides various resources and online support for graduate students. Visit the Knowldege Market website to seek help for your research and writing needs!

  6. GVSU alum from the Master of Science in Communication program, Brittany Bahl, was accepted into University of Iowa's doctoral program! Congratulations, Brittany!

June 15, 2022: Application deadline for the Fall Presidential Research Grant
June 23, 2022: MISTEM Connect at the Muskegon Innovation Hub from 5-7 p.m.
July 1, 2022: Submission deadline for The Michigan Historical Review 2022 Graduate Student Essay
July 28, 2022: Virtual Social Innovation Master's Project Presentations via Zoom from 6-8 p.m.
August 16, 2022: GVSU internal deadline for the Fulbright U.S. Student Program applications.
