What inspired you to volunteer as a Denison Everywhere host?
I like gathering with local alumni — or alumni who happen to be in the area. Alumni who had been hosting asked if, as a dependable attendee, I would consider taking on hosting. I didn’t have a good reason to say no.
Why is being involved with your alma mater important to you?
My years at Denison were really formative. I hope that I can help foster that for future Denisonians.
Fun fact about yourself:
My wife and I launched a cocktail club and social media presence during the first COVID winter, featuring six crafted cocktails highlighting Black-owned spirits brands. It was a fun way to gather (virtually) with friends on a monthly basis and share the products of my downtime mixing.
